Abstract

A study was carried out to assess the effect of non genetic factors on growth performance of Sonadi sheep. The overall least squares means for BWT, 3WT, 6WT and ADG1 and ADG2 were estimated as 2.61±0.01 kg, 9.21±0.13 kg, 13.13±0.16 kg, 74.01±1.41 gm and 43.70±1.29 gm, respectively. Effect of season of birth and period was significant (P< 0.05) on growth traits (3WT, 6WT and ADG2). Sex of lamb showed significant (P<0.05) effect for birth weight, three month of body weight due to physiological functions. Birth weight showed increasing trend over the period.
