Abstract

The present investigation was carried out to study the antibiotic sensitivity profiling of 34 Staphylococcus aureus isolates from milk of goats with clinical mastitis against different antibiotics. Two of the antibiotics namely cloxacillin and meropenem were detected 100% effective against all the isolates, followed by gentamicin and cefalothin (88.24%) whereas other antibiotics showed lower efficacies. Highest resistance (55.88%) was shown towards linezolid followed by ampicillin (44.12%).
