Abstract
This study was conducted to find out the implications of COVID-19 in Jodhpur district of Rajasthan. A total of 160 livestock owners were selected from eight villages of two tehsils viz. Phalodi and Shergarh of Jodhpur district. Among feeding constraints not being able to access the market to purchase feed, fodder and concentrates was the most serious constraint during the COVID-19 period followed by lack of availability of feed and fodder from usual vendors and high cost of feed was most serious constraint before COVID-19 period followed by lack of availability of feed and fodder from the usual vendor. Among breeding practices lack of door step veterinary services was at first rank during COVID-19 followed by more charges of AI, PD and treatment of reproductive disorders and Non-availability of improved bull/ram/buck for breeding was the most serious constraint before the COVID-19 period followed by Irregular availability of AI service by veterinary personnel.
