Abstract

Present study was conducted in Dholpur district of Rajasthan to know the level of entrepreneurial behaviour of rural youth in dairying. A sample of 120 rural youth was selected for the study. Majority of the respondents had a medium level of innovativeness, achievement motivation and decision-making ability. About 60 per cent of dairy farmers had medium risk orientation, with moderate coordinating and planning ability. While 50.00 per cent of the respondents had medium information-seeking behaviour, 64.17 per cent had a medium level of cosmopoliteness and 60 per cent possessed a high level of self-confidence followed by 32.50 per cent medium, 07.50 per cent low-level self-confidence.  This study revealed that dairy farmers had a medium level of entrepreneurial behaviour.
