Abstract

The present study was conducted on 10 ten healthy and infected with Moneizia expansa Black Bengal goats to estimate the status of antioxidants. Infected goats had significantly (P<0.05) higher LDH activity than healthy controls. Catalase and SOD activity were considerably (P<0.05) higher in the infected goats than in the healthy goats. Due to monezia infection in the goat, the concentration of GSH significantly (P<0.05) reduced while the concentration of MDA significantly (P<0.05) increased.
