Abstract

The present study was carried out to evaluate the effectiveness of homeopathic medicine (Cina 30) as an alternative treatment for deworming of the sheep. It was observed in the experiment that haematological parameters and body weight were increased non-significantly (p<0.05) after homeopathy treatment while the oxidative stress biomarkers viz serum catalase (kUL-1) and serum malondialdehyde (µ mol L-1) were significantly decreased (p<0.05), indicated the amelioration of stress level after treatment with cina 30. It is concluded that homeopathic medicines cina 30 could be used as an alternative medicine to control parasitic infestation in small ruminants.
